Our first post-pandemic meeting: What to Do About Medicare?

Northport Cracker Barrel held its first post-pandemic meeting on April 20, 2023. Our topic was "What to do about Medicare." All of us had an interest as users of Medicare, and several contributed from their experience as medical practitioners. 

The meeting used the "deep dive" format. The idea of this format is to have everyone read a short article in advance on the subject of discussion. The reading serves as a point of takeoff for comments based on each participant's own opinions and experience. In this case, the reading was "A fiscally responsible government cannot keep its hands off Medicare" from the Washington Post.

In a short business meeting after the discussion, we decided to continue meeting at 10:00 on the third Thursday of each month.
